Tiring Period!!!

Entry 2

Well, it is the seventh week all of us being colonised by UKM. Being a first year student is a challenge for all of us. All activities from various organizations hunting for us to ensure that their programmes running smoothly apart from attaining the objectivity. Why only us? Is it because we are juniors so that we have to replace or responsible on the disobidient by our seniors? It is not fair at all.
Being a first year student especially in the Faculty Of Law, we need to adapt with new situation as fast as we can. This is important to ensure that we will have a comfortable surrounding in order to gain good results. However, with all kind of activities hunting for us, we will surely having a difficulty in maintaining our mental and physical to achieve our main purpose being here, in university to study. How are we going to study well if, in this minute we have to go for a college meeting, the next minute we have to attend faculty activity and later, we have to go to club meeting. Isn't it tiring? When will we study? How are we going to study?
If we are not participated in those activities, we will be concluded as a student who do not have good soft skills. Even worse, we are being evaluated for our soft skills by using the SPKG system.
I am not against the SPKG system. Somehow, i am a full supporter of it. For me, the system is not guilty. In order to have a great student, who is not just having a good IQ but also great EQ, SPKG system is absolutely a great method in determining it. However, the problem is, students have to enter clubs or association for many level in the universities. College, Faculty and also in UKM itself. Like me, I am the Higher Council Secretariat as well as the member of Sepet Theater Club for Ungku Omar College, I am the members of PERUNDANG UKM for the Faculty of Law and I am the members for Persatuan Anak Johor in the UKM level. Imagined, there was a time where all of these clubs or associations calling me for an important meeting. How can I divide myself into 4 or maybe more?
Every problems must be followed by a solution. Here, I am only suggesting but it will not surely solve the problem. But, I do believe that if we limit the participation of the students, we will be able to reduce the tension among the students. What is meant by limiting here is that, one students will be subjected only to one organizations that he/she favour the most. Doesn't matter whether it is in which level. The most imporatant thing, once the student have entered into a club which he/she favour, the student must give a full commitment and try to attain the best position in that organization. So that, students will not feel tension anymore to fullfill all the commitment given to them. I believe that, with this little amendment to the system, students will be able to develop their soft skills as well as attain a good results in their exam.
That's for now, I will surely raise this up if I am the MPP for UKM...Hopefully...haha.
with that, I rest my case...click!
