Time passed very fast. Sometime I feel very tired..The following weeks we are going to have our problem based learning(PBL). Actually what is the PBL about? PBL is basically about using our knowledge to solve problem . It is a group task which require the cooperation from all the group members to solve the problems. Now everyone is busy to do research and find relevant authority to support our statement in the PBL questions. However, from this PBL I have learned a lot of things. I learn to be more cooperative . I remember that last time I like to do individual task than group task because for me individual task is easy in the sense that I can do whatever I like to do. Now, through group task I learn sharing , sharing what I have done on the research . Maybe the phrase "sharing is caring" is true. When sharing the informative I get, I feel happy and satisfaction ! This is the feeling we can't feel in individual task. Through PBL , I also learn how to communicate with the others in the proper manner and even some soft skill. I think these values we cannot learn simply from the text book . I do appreciate .
Anyway, recently I also studied an article about” when non-Muslim parents convert to Islam, the religion of their kids will remain in the same religion in which the marriage was solemnised. Such a statement contradicts the Federal Constitution, religious positions and causes confusion. Cabinet minister announced that the religion of minors from non-Muslim parents, upon the conversion of any of the parents to Islam, remains in the religion under which the marriage was solemnised. Such a statement contradicts the Federal Constitution and some religious positions. It worsens the confusion among the people and draws criticisms from both Muslims and non-Muslims. In Islam, if a child was born from Muslim parents, jurists unanimously agreed that he or she is a Muslim . Same situation here that if a child for a Muslim father and non Muslim mother , the child is a Muslim. The question arise in the case “What is the status of a child’s religion if both parents renounce Islam and become apostates ?” All jurists maintain the child as muslim. the religious status of children from non-Muslim parents. The earlier basic principle that children follow the religion of parents applies here. If a child is born from a non-Muslim parent, he or she is not a Muslim. Similarly, if a child is born from apostate parents, he or she is considered an unbeliever. The religious status of children appears most problematic when parent converts to Islam, especially if only one party does so. Generally speaking, if both father and mother embrace Islam, their children become Muslim as well.If only one parent embrace Islam, their underage child becomes Muslim too. Between the two parents, the position of the one who embraces Islam is ‘stronger’ compared to the non-converting spouse. Therefore, a child follows the religion of the ‘stronger’ party. That mean in such situation , it has contrasted with the article 5 of Federal Constitution mentioned that freedom of religious. However, in my opinion that when a marriage breaks down due to conversion to Islam, the best solution must be sought from the religion under which the marriage was solemnised or the law under which the marriage was registered. All disputes pertaining to property, custody of minors and other ancillary rights must be resolved under that religious or legal system.Nevertheless, all religion always lead their followers towards a good and bright path. After all, if we really believe in the omnipotence or omniscience of God, none should worry as to where one would end up in the next life. We should not quarrel about the religion things, since all the religion lead their followers toward the right path. I think I should be more appreciate and grateful when I have been given the chance to come to this wonderful world. Thank to my parents. Although now I have to leave home for a period of time, I will always remember to appreciate what my parents have given and provided to me. Why people like disputes? quarrel? We should be more grateful. I love peace. No argument . Maybe I should try my best to involve in more world peace lover activities. We are human, why must hurt each others? Just because of the different in skin colour? Religions? the place we have been born? .....
