Dear students,

I am not sure if any of you will read/see this as i am aware that sem is over and so are exams and probably  some (or many) of you may not visit this blog. But that'sjust it - if you have viewed this blog as a platform for you to write and reflect, and perhaps share your thoughts, chances are you might visit it and even contribute, but if you look upon this blog as something that you HAVE to  do , something only to fulfil the 10% requirement, then you wouldn't open this page/blog, i suppose.

I have only just completed reading your entries. Yes, why so long?? Well, I do have 2 classes and that means 40 x 4 = 160 entries. Yes, i have read most of the earlier entries and made notes, but still i read them again to refresh my memory and to be fairer to all of you.

I notice that some of you still have not quite grasped the meaning of reflecting and you reflections read more lilke diary enries, although you were supposed to reflect on your learning experiences related to your life as a law student and all the activities related to that, although you could still include your ko -k and other activiities. Still, overall wasn't too bad, but some of you have a lot to work on, in terms of language. You seem to be getting your verbs and word forms  all mixed up. I hope that you continue to read lots in english (well,  as a law student, i suppose you have little choice on this matter!!) so that you improve in your writing.
Generally, i do hope that this blogging experience enriched your learning experiences in a new way.

To those who have expressed their appreciation to me, i would like to say you are welcome, to those who have apologized, well, i accept your apology. If i have admonished you, it was because i care that you do well, and not just academically but as a person and as a future law practitioner and a professional.

Our paths may not cross again, but i do hope that at least some of you will keep in touch.

preparation for finals

my exam is around the corner(now it is going on).my first semester is going to finish.i juz really cant believe it.i have learned many things during my first semester.
  i was playing during this first semester.well it indicated that i still not yet get usuall myself with university life but i cannot use this excuse.till when i can use this excuse and escape myself..
  I wan to share something about i learned recently.i noticed this when i was studying for my final exam.it is inside the subject malaysian legal system.
 Legal history before acceptance of english law is a nice chapter inside malaysian legal system.it is about local legal system.It is an unadilterated legal system of indigenous people or aboriginal communities.
  I am unsatisfied with the penalties that given to the crime.If a person in the community become thief or steal others property were punished with fines or ex-communication.if they murder others,the death sentence was prounced by a tribunal headed by the penghulu.but in crime relating to women,the offender would be fined or made to pay compensation to the victim.It is unfair at all.Why they treated women like that?They should treated women better.They should award the strict punishment to the crime related to women..
Nowdays,women's position in society  is much better now.We have so many women society now that fight for women;s rights.So,nowdays i think women's position is better although so many crimes occur.As long ladies are concern about their safety and take proper measures and care for their behaviours in public.they will not face any problem.
  Our legal system also have to be improve.They should place more importance to law regarding to ladies benefict.

4th entry..

       I was doing my revision when suddenly BAMM!!! i just remember that i still have not do my reflection..OH MY GOD!!how can i forget??? Nabila Shamsudin,how can u forget??During the study week and this examination period,my mind is everywhere..I'm worrying about exam (of course), about sending my JPA form,and also counting the day to go home. Maybe that is why i forgot about my reflection.

      Pbl contract..huh..what can i say??When the pbl date approching, i felt like my death time is also approching.The nervous feeling that i felt for contract pbl are far more worse than for MLS and Consti.Why?Maybe because during our pbl, unlike mls and consti,there will be 2 lecturers that will evaluate us or maybe because other people can come and watch it..or maybe because we also have to prepare for our english presentation that week.Perhaps because we also have our IT test on that day..

      Preparing for the pbl was tiring.A lot of case to read to find relevent point that can be use in our argument.A lot of books to refer to. Just to make the argument, it took me 2 days to prepare.During that period, lack of sleep is a must.There was one day, a day before my pbl, after working on my argument until 2, preparing to sleep, shortly after that, BLACKOUT..my dream to sleep with comfort for a few hours disappear just like that when the fan stop spinning . Sleeping with my window open, make me wake up every 10 minute worrying that something might crawl or fly inside my room.

     After the pbl over, a hugh burden lifted from my shoulder. I just felt so happy that its over without caring how many mark i will get.Also because i'm going home that day for my study week. However, on Tuesday i was forced to come back to UKM because i need to take my JPA form..
